Because what I presented was one of Descarte's versions of it. The Pure Anslem Ontological argument for the Existence of God is simpler. It begins with Idea of Perfection. From the Idea of Perfection, the existence of God is postulated. The Proof Presupposes that Humans can Form the Idea of Perfection to begin with. It also presupposes that Humans are not perfect. It's not very important. It takes more intelligence to understand the argument rather than criticize it. I could agree that Earthquakes are not subject to human manipulation. But that's besides the point. Gold is made by humans and whatever is made by humans is subject to manipulation. The point, of course, is if there is anything illegal going on in the gold market. I don't consider CB selling or leasing of gold reserves to be illegal. What the CB's bought the CB's have a right to sell. The leasing issue we've discussed countless times on this thread. I see nothing illegal in what GATA claims to be taking place on the leasing side. As for informing other parties of Gold sales beforehand, that would need to be proven in a court of law. Gold is a Currency. CB's have every right to intervene in the Currency Markets to buy or sell gold and manipulate the price as they do with other currencies. GATA is sour grapes. There are more fundamental reasons for the present state of the gold market.
