Varian Semiconductor Equipment Inc. (NasdaqNM:VSEA - news) said on Tuesday that its guidance on its business performance has not changed since its July earnings release and conference call. Perhaps this will help, though it sounds a bit more formally and legalistically worded than I'd like. I would have preferred to hear them say business continues great and we can't believe the selloff.
