Analysts surveyed by Bridge News expected that last week's U.S. crude oil supplies rose 1.5 million to 2.5 million barrels, on average.

Distillate supplies likely remained unchanged or rose by 1 million barrels, the survey said, while gasoline inventories are seen down 1 million to 2 million barrels as of the week ended Oct. 13.
