The DSL CLECs have been telling us that there are some big problems brewing. Up until now I thought the problem was margin erosion secondary to competition - I didn't think it was on the demand side.

Yeah I agree, CMTN is huge negative news. This was one of the poster children of internet hardware stocks. Profit outlook for 2001 guided down from $1.37 to $0.16-0.25. Duh.

IBM trading now at 99 1/2 by 100 1/2. How many Dow points is a $13 drop in IBM? Gotta think that Dow 10,000 is history at tomorrow's open.
