Gold is no longer desirable. Considered cheap, unattractive, and overowned by the proletariat. The "with-it" crowd has moved to platinum long ago. I use my solid gold silverware only at picnics now. <g>

Maples are very high quality coins...and bullion has outperformed gold stocks by a mile. not that that means much...

Thanks to this thread, I am the proud unowner of 1000 IBM tonight, to go along with a few other unowned positions courtesy of her. Such as PVN, RMBS, JPM.. I also own a bunch of PDG.. Sort of like a hedge fund.
