If you bothered to listen to the debate last night, you would have noted that Gore is on the National Security Council, and while in the Senate, he was on the committee dealing for foreign intelligence matters. One thing that Clinton has done more than any other president is to include the vice president in the decisionmaking process, particularly in areas where the vice president has more depth. Gore has a better command of foreign policy than most candidates. In fact, I can't think of any president since Wilson who was better prepared in foreign policy PRIOR TO becoming President.

Bush revealed himself last night as a person who is either naieve or just plain uneducated when it comes to key issues such as foreign affairs.
