Thread,

I took the liberty to take some points from the RFMD CC as posted by Jack Hartman over on the RFMD thread. Some of these points outline AHAA leadership and competitiveness over RFMD and may give clues to the quarter:

- No design wins in Bluetooth since still working with customers on products (AHAA has a design win with digianswer): biz.yahoo.com

- Disappointed on slow rampup with MOT (Because they are in bed with AHAA?)

-Integrated modules is the wave of the future. Feel going to pay off big time. (AHAA going big on modules as well)

- Modules are easier for handsets mfrs to work with. A lot less tuning and tweaking to be done. As modules incorporate PA and receiver front end, they are less interchangeable between suppliers.

- Convinced market going to take off in six month with next generation phones

- Delays were orders pushouts from ERICY, also from two other customers due to slippages and tech problems. Sagem (France) is seeing softness of orders due to inventory. June was 10% of rev and fell off significantly in Sep quarter. (Sagem might be bad for AHAA?)

Jack's CC notes:

Anyway, it looks to be a plunger tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I'm home now, so Beer in hand!

Cheers,

Tom

<Look at CMTN, it's apparent beating of consensus estimates turned into a meltdown.>

Look at it? I owned that truck that just hit me.

Throw my TQNT and AHAA into the mix and I am definately about to hit the brew too.

ANAD, RFMD.... Not a betting man because I don't have any money left but I would say AHAA and TQNT are going to come out of this smelling like roses. Very cheap roses.
