I believe that as far as electrical reasons, 4-layer boards have a wider range of characteristic impedance than 6-layer boards. This is cause you can get the layers on a 4-layer board as close as you can get them on a 6-layer board, but you can't get the layers on a 6-layer board as far apart as you can get the layers on a 4-layer board. But there could be time to market issues with the stackup that the 4-layer card would imply. (But I doubt this.)

As far as I know, Tenchusatsu is a straight shooter. But he does seem to have some problems with his vision, both in the sense of seeing into the future, and in the sense of seeing what is right in front of his eyes. I hold him, and Zeev now that I think of it, to higher standards cause I expect that more much out of them. You don't see me ragging on sylvester80, cause everybody knows exactly where he is coming from.
