Agree with you, presently I only own stocks that I WANT to own, just a few I have no problem holding future gains.

The soft landing comment made a lot of sense.
Scalping when I can and taking what the market gives me, with tight stops

AOL looked awfully tasty for a gamble on the merger, but will prob get cheaper yet.

Trading the QQQ is another way to simplify trading in this rough environment. Does not require an uptick to short.

With Christmas coming and now I just heard on CNBC rumors of a TV show, that EBAY does look tasty, but the pe is stratospheric.
Might try some Nov calls if they take her under 50.

Verrry slippery out there.
