I believe Diana was talking about people deferring big gains in E&Ps until the 2001 tax year. I know I am trying to hold on until 2001 with CRK because I just don't want to add that to a already bad tax situation in 2000. I know I am not the only one trying to do that. On the other hand, when industry guys like JimP and Aggie are talking about NG down 60% by spring, it makes me think that taxable profits are better than no profits and that doesn't only apply to the E&P's. I think the drillers would also be decimated by that kind of fall in NG prices.
