Ken, I agree w. u on EMC and Sunw. They will have fantasic conf call. I love sunw conf call. Inspite of weakness in wintel I think when the new trend starts there will be new leaders in technology.

to the thread ... it is easy for me to admit and accept mistakes, and buying 1000 SUNW @ 109 last night was certainly not my best choice since it opened around 105 this morning in the pre-market ...

... I just sold the 1000 @ 104.1635, so I lost $4,900 less the $3,500 I made on Monday which nets me out at minus $1,400 the last two days ... I can live with that.

... EMC just reported and it looks like their earnings are OK ... we will see what they say in their conference call ... it will be important to SUNW ...

... CPI just reported - looks inflationary ... a slowing economy at the same time as inflation increasing keeps things very bearish ...

... if SUNW does not blow-out the revenue and sales numbers today and then at least indicate that the next 6 months look very solid, it could be all over for the Nasdaq ...

Dear Ken and all: Well, I am back after a great Jeep Jamboree in Kentucky. I missed most of the excitement in the market including the runup of SUNW and the subsequent destruction of the tech market (thank you Nortel)! Have to get up to speed over the next few days. Wish I could have heard the CC.
Ken, I saw that you sold rather quickly at a small loss when you could have held a couple days and made a nice gain. Why the nervousness! Like Bush said, be patient, I'm coming to straighten things out. haha. JDN
