FLACK, you're wearing that black robe again, aren't you?

What a post! Tell me a little more specifically what you mean when you say "the market is at a point where I have not seen it in years." I realize all the chips and internet stocks are getting crushed, but tell me what else you're thinking. 2500 by December? 2000 by January? 1500 in May?

Should I strap on my helmet now or next week?

Flack, some nice(???) thoughts in your post, thank you. Question, how do you see this market resolving itself? Many seem to be waiting for a selling climax to mark the bottom, but I am more inclined to think that the market will crawl quietly across the finish line after many of the spectators have left, and of course you will be urging people to buy.

FLACK..I'm betting we will experience a horror that will slice the thirty-something fund managers off at the knees.

You paint a pretty gloomy picture, but you could be right. I don't have the experience that many others on this board have, but what I see is real. Stocks are not only selling off, they are losing 50% of their market cap in AH. Most high flyers are off 50/90% from their highs and they're trading @ 1 and 2 year lows. How long can these fund managers flip their money around and continue to show gains in their portfolios. How long will the "people" leave their money in these funds after they realize they have alot less money this year than they had last. Margin call selling will kick in and thats when we will see the "superstocks" get hammered, they are the only thing holding this market up for now.

Yes it is real and it is scary.
