INTC said that Q3 will be 3-5% and they did 5%.
They want to be conservative.

jmac,

reQ4 numbers

I believe Joe Osha (not the biggest Intel Bull) had 12% sequential growth.

So even 8% will be considered essentially a warning.

This is what CNBC was talking about this afternoon.

Q3 numbers werent bad but Q4 outlook seemed very light.

Unfortunatley IBM missed with weak outlook -- they were whacked 12-15% after hours.

Several folks like COVAD, Copper Mtn, RFMD all did OK but showed weak outlooks and stocks were trashed 30-60% after hrs.

The Naz futures looked down as well.

IMHO we could well have a pretty ugly day.

And if Mr. Softy hiccups after hrs tomorrow we will be toast on thursday.

regards,

Kash
