I stuck a tiny toe in 3 weeks ago when the NASDAQ seemed to have trendline support at 3600. Pulled it out and put a tiny bandaid on it. Friday's move seemed very convincing despite the fact I knew this week would most likely be VERY bad. So I stuck a REAL big toe in Friday. I'm ok so far, but I hope it doesn't get chewed off before the week ends. I gotta do a better job following my own advice, lol. I must have posted or PM'ed variations of "wait until late October/after MSFT reports earnings" 3 or 4 times, starting back in mid-September. I'd like to think that if the markets can make it through this week, they can handle anything, and will begin to head upward -- till end of year. We shall see. I'm hoping the weekly NASDAQ chart doesn't steer me wrong:siliconinvestor.com As for puts and shorts, I'm sure you realize the easy money has been made betting on downside for this cycle. But I'm sure your's are short term plays. Hmmmmm ..... CMTN, COVD ? I finally get to say it -- I've HATED COVD FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW !!! Everytime shorts and selling would start to take it over, the "next DSL company to be bought out" story would surface. Like clockwork. One of the great things about playing the OTCBB is you learn that NO STOCK is immune from manipulation. I'm pretty sure options expiration is this week too. That means the each of the next 3 days should be a new adventure in investing. >> oh da horror << Yes, I bought the pets.com sock puppet. Probably the company's best and most profitable item. Took it to a meeting and did my speaking through it, lol :-))). Made everyone give their reports to the sock. The things I do to boost morale. The $20+ I spent doesn't seem to have helped them. IPET closed at 17/32 yesterday. I'm tellin' ya, the OTCBB is gonna be a popular and crowded place soon ! Go make some money for the rest of us Wayne ! Chris
