I am looking to leg into tech in the next 7 trading days. I generally trade only 4 stocks: SUNW EMC AMCC PMCS and occasionally EXTR. For the last 3 months, I have day traded and held overnight only about 15 trading days. As for Brinker, I neither followed nor ignored his advice. I took it into account (he does move markets) and regret that some folks bought the Qs at the open today. The action in RFMD today is, to my mind, astonishing. I have never seen such carnage. I traded this stock as high as 83 (I checked tonight) and, while I have not always enjoyed the affection of some members of the thread, I wish everyone well, especially Ibexx who, to my mind, remains one of the best investors I have ever met. She makes mistakes, and she is prickly: but she has been a great success during the great tech boom of the 90s. SHe is my kinda girl.

??? current PE of 75 taking into account AH trading???
the profile listed for RFMD has a PE of 71 or so with a price of 23. With RFMD being cut in half this morning then shouldn't the current PE now be 35 or so?

my sources attend these conferences and take copious notes. rfmicro AND its
outside spokesperson were called. they never even attempted to get back to
me...even AFTER the column was written. if you've read this column for any
period of time you know i rely on my sources...and the good ones are rarely
wrong. in this case, as it turns out, they were very right. their body
language was not positive. and i don't think they'd disagree. as for the
analyst: they don't do any work! hg
