So Dave, you don't subscribe to the conspiracy theory either? <g> I think the bulls were simply shaken out of their sell off induced stupor when they saw green on their screens for the first time in a week and had a Pavlovian response to hit the buy button. Plenty of booked orders to sell above, still are....if it'll just come back a little I promise I'll sell it and never go back orders.

The shorts were doing fine, with a good strong wind at their back. In the afternoon , they capitulated in disbelief of their own brain. That would be my take , anyway.
