Now how would you know that there is no constellation of genes that give general predisposition towards one preference or another? Is this your wish? Or hope? I don't understand the "Give your head a shake" reference. This was rhetorical proposition - a hypothetical question to explore your philosophical space. Considering that the human genome has only JUST been mapped how can you say this with any certainty? I sure can't.

So, let's say in 20 years that if you have recessive variant A1C45 and dominant gene X238-C that makes you "gay" (usually). What do you think we should do? Root them out and kill them? Or tolerate them. What if it only produces these results 75% of the time like complex genetic systems are wont to do?

I'm still not clear what precisely it is about someone else's gay behavior disturbs you so much. It would be interesting to hear the rational basis for this belief.
