That stockpiling comment is troubling to me. Isn't that like channel stuffing?

Sounds like the opposite to me. Stockpiling is done by a user who is afraid of running out of supplies. Channel stuffing is done by a supplier who is afraid of not making the numbers.

That stockpiling comment is troubling to me. Isn't that like channel stuffing? I know it's not the fault of the component players, but down the line there may be a slowdown as that stockpile is worked through.

Since companies like JNPR are on allotment, it's hard to imagine how they'll be able to stock pile enough to make this an issue.

I know for some components, there's a six-month wait, or there was as of a couple months ago. Not sure what's being quoted now.
