John,

Canada's depletion was higher then most expected due in large part to the shallow nature of lot of their existing production. A lot of the new drilling has been for deeper longer lived production in western Alberta.

Canada will also have a lot of flush production. In addition, a lot of wells that were drilled last winter will not be on production until this winter due to the same weather constraints.

Flush production is flush production in the States as it is in Canada, only in Canada the lag time is longer.

Don't under estimate the power of flush production combined with a little lag time, it gets them every cycle.

Jim
