Glenn - I don't even have cable TV! The cable companies are so screwed up here, they couldn't even figure out which company had the right to connect my house. After 4 visits! This totally matches cable service I've had at other locations. I finally got a satellite connection, Direct TV. Cable company ineptitude is a big part of DSL's success, such as it is, I think.

Fiber rollout to homes would be very slow, I think. But, in 10 years might be commonplace. I justed mentioned it initially as an example of another DSL alternatives.

On another topic....

I'm reading through the remarks on the I2 thread. A Bruce Brown has posted a very nice summary of the conference call. I2 looks awesome!
