bobby, I think you are reading too much into my posts on CMTN, COVD and DSL technology...

I was simply responding to Joseph on some stocks he mentioned tanking in afterhours...

I followed with CMTN and COVD... My buy and hold comment is simply for one looking to get into this area of the market that has been beaten down... I always have price objectives even though I may say buy and hold. I have said I think these stocks can go 30% higher from these oversold beaten down levels... CMTN 12 1/4 and COVD 5 3/4...

Are they on my buy list? No.

Can you make money on them from these depressed levels? Absolutely.. But you must be disciplined to sell when they bounce and I believe these stocks will bounce..

QCOM, CSCO and HIFN are all at or above prices I paid for them in this decimated market..

I am looking to load up and ride thoroughbreds and these discounts are too much to pass up...

I will look to add others going forward...

Best Regards, J.T.

Looking at the market .... it's

clear that if one takes a position on it's direction and one sticks to one's guns, one is bound to be right for some of the time. It's a simple probability based argument. [ One can extend that argument to market level, but now we'd need to incorporate the notion of time ].

Barton Biggs is a good example of that principle in action. Also some bulls, like Mike Murphy.

Joseph :)
