Mocking? Oh. Anyway, I said that the current scientific data suggested that it MAY happen in utro due to the influences of hormones. MAY. So I'm going with that to explore the logic and the consequences of that logic. There have been studies of brain differences and that these are likely to have a genetic link.

This is not a liberal or conservative issue, dude, it is a biological issue (not sure how you think otherwise). Homosexual acts are exhibited by the majority if not all higher life forms that have a complicated sexuality. It is not a stretch to think that it is not something unique to humans, but something we share with other animals. Since most animals do it to some degree or other, why is it important to deny a biological or genetic basis? I don't get that. It's like nearsightedness. Who cares if someone is nearsighted because they read too much or if that condition was exacerbated by reading?

I then moved to find out how strongly you felt about biological predisposition as a justification for abortion. I could have used a genetic marker for hydrocephalus but YOU asked the question about a "gay gene." I went with that. I could go with hydrocephalus or being born with no brain.
