And that 1.7GHZ dual RDRAM P4 would be as fast as what? A 1.33GHZ P3? A 1.2GHZ DDR Athlon?

Remember what happened to the original Celeron and what happened to winchip - P4 better look good out of the chute, otherwise it will be labeled "junk" - and Celeron took almost a year to get away from that first impression even after they fixed it by putting the cache back.
