Germany by 1932 was a far different place than what it was in the 1920's. Forget what the Reichwehr did during late 20's-early 30'2 period. The German people suffered immensely from rampant inflation and unemployment, while the devaluation of the currency allowed the situation to deteriorate further. Starvation set in, and even Hoover (the saviour of the Belgians during WW II) was appalled at what the Allies and others had wrought. Not that the average German citizen can escape guilt, but it is no wonder that the NSDAP came to power. It was not what Al Gore would call "nation-building."

Mankind should never have to repeat the German experience of the 1919-45 experience, God forbid.
