Stefano, that looks like it could be a good conference to attend. Unfortunately its a bit rich for me. I don't know of anyone attending.

I'd be happy to take up a collection for a portion of my conference fee, pay for my expenses myself and provide a complete report to all in return <g>.

This conference looks interesting, but I was intrigued with the absence of NTAP. The third tier of sponsors looks like a shopping list for 2001's merger targets (Troika,Vixel, etc).

Interoperability is discussed, but none of the big players are on the panel. Hitachi is doing the Fibre Channel platform speech, BRCD is keeping its mouth shut. The NAS appliances presentation is being given by Hill School.

Hill School is a partner to Dell and Veritas, offering 50-100mb of network storage per student, and Dell server enviro with a total capacity approaching one terabyte. All students are encouraged to purchase a Dell notebook, juniors and seniors are required to do so. Prob have some of the NTAP appliances in the Dell product.
