Thread, RE: "STMicroelectronics NV, Europe's biggest computer chipmaker, said third-quarter profit tripled as makers of mobile phones, digital cameras and pocket organizers snapped up its products. ...Sales rose 60 percent to a record $2.04 billion. ...STMicroelectronics, like rivals such as Texas Instruments Inc. and Royal Philips Electronics NV, has benefited from surging demand for chips used in telecommunications"
------------------------------

There was a press release on STM's PCOAC that someone posted not too long ago. Does anyone have it? I searched for it, but it appears it has been pulled off of SI.

And, so have these:

rise.com

theregister.co.uk

which came from, Message 13021350

Ten, did STM actually announce the PCOAC at MFP?
Message 14482061

Also, does anyone know what STMicroelectronics URL is? I tried, www.stmicroelectronics.com, but this didn't exist either.

Regards,

Stephen - Re: "Nothing justifies their valuation today,'' said CCR's Renaud, referring to STMicroelectronics' stock price. ``It was completely ludicrous at 75 and still too expensive at 45.'' Renaud sold shares in the company at the beginning of the year and says he won't buy them again unless they fall to 25.3 euros"

Wow !!

STMicro has their very own Drew Peck and Jonathan Jokeseph - rolled into one.
