WWS - don't want to get into this but there has only been two-three significant purchases by canadains in the usa oil market.AEC and Pancanadian are the ones doing the buying.
The companies you mention cnq,ranger,westminster,anderson,ulster are all canadian companies.

We're talking about 2 different things.
I said the americans were using a grossly overvalued fiat currency to unfairly acquire canadian assets. Have you ever stopped to think what backs up the USD? IMO, manipulation, lies & their military.

Your examples of canadian companies taking over other canadian companies is hardly comparable.
