Hi Mike - yea, I feel like being mushroom of the day too [re: leak :)!] I am not surprised at NT move and I think it is a bullish sign. Here is my rationale. There is no secret that NT has been focusing on her [optical] competency. She has been outsourcing manufacturing, back office etc etc. While she is still hedging the bets with vendor financing, she also scales it back Message 14605225 So, if you put all these circumstantial evidence, it is reasonable for her to allow the specialist like ANTC to run with the ball. However, the fact that she is keeping ~47% of ANTC means she is still bullish in the segment. Remember the unsuccessful deal with GLW, in which NT has wanted 50% of GLW, I think similar reasonings here. In summary, NT is in effect outsourcing this segment to ANTC so she can concentrate in the segments she chooses. ANTC is free to pursue her ambition with an additional $325MM in the pocket but w/o a short leash. I think shareholders of both companies will benefit <VBG> best, Bosco
