If we close here, we have a higher close on the COMPX and a lower close on the INDU.

I called the bottom all the way down in '98. <ggg> I thought the economic fundamentals were too strong for the market to tank big-time then. I unfortunately do not feel that way this time, but at least this is an old-fashioned bear market, which the Fed can handle. Panic is much more dangerous.

FYI, maybe Time isn't a factor in a capitulation sell-off.

FYI, I couldn't help but notice that BB was still calling for the Big Kahuna on Oct. 8, 1998. <ggg>

My only sign of a bottom in early October 1998 was that CSCO was trading at a PE of 30, its actual growth rate. Would need to get a lot lower to get there now, probably to about 20.

Techs look very good here.
