That wasn't capitulation. I'm my capitulation tell -- when I am too afraid to give a downside target on the QQQs, that'll be the bottom. <g> My downside target for QQQ was 75 today . . . and the fact that I was willing to say that means we aren't done yet <g>

Do you remember a long time ago ( I think a couple of years) we had a big crash in the market and came back and it was later found out that our government bought a bunch of S&P futures to put some confindence back in the market?

I don't know how to check the S&P futures volume but I would be interested to know if they have abnormal volume today.

I found this chart on the S&P futures.
I have never looked at them before but the DEC. futures contracts to me look like some serious serious volume.
410409 open interest compaired to 6471 open interest for the march contracts.

Anybody know if this volume is unusual or not?
