It is my understanding that if Quebec leaves, the Western provinces are likely to apply for statehood in the US, and the Maritime Provinces might, leaving Ontario and little else as "Canada". Have you heard anything like this?

LOL, I usually visit Canada every year for a couple of weeks by boat, so I know of from where you speak eh. Have met many Canadians over the years that share your stoic sense of humor. Still a beautiful country but I can no longer afford your Brador. :( Last summer I traveled from Kingston up through the canal to Ottawa for a few days (loved the open market with all those great cheeses, breads and fresh veggies) and then onto the Ottawa River to Montreal and the back home via the St. Lawrence. Price of gas @ .78-80 a ltr. was tough then, I can imagine what it is now. With your beer prices, I had to bring enough to last me the 18 day trip. Liberals are not happy unless they take away all your pleasures. When Customs asked me why I had so much beverage aboard, I looked him in the eye and said "You can't be serious". He laughed and pass us through. Prices, even with the exchange rate from the beating you currency has taken, were surprisingly high, but C$36-38 a case for beer is stiff even with the exchange rate. Things always find a way to seek their own level, a truth the liberals can't seem to grasp.
