Could it simply be that you get what you pay for?

There must be a reason why Realtick/ pcquote/ ATFI / with level II etc. cost $250 a month + exchange fees.

We all love the charting of qcharts, but really, is it more important to have accurate timely data with ok charting, or spotty, often horrendous data with more charting features?

Does anyone on the thread have any experience with Realtick? Does it suck as often, or as badly as qfeed? Is it simply overpriced, or is it that much better at delivering the goods?

I use interactivebrokers, and even when qcharts/qfeed seem to be working ok, the ib quotes run at least 30 seconds or so ahead of the qfeed quotes.

Would this be the case with Realtick?

I am close to biting the bullet on this one. There is a big difference between $80 and $250 (du.....think its about $170) but I make more than enough on an average day to pay the full month's fee.

Maybe we all just like to think we're getting a bargain. With qcharts, the bargain is fictional...........
