Re: Sharck - Insider view

It's great to see a view from someone who's been inside the industry, yet is now looking back in from outside, and does not have the Forest blocking his view.

Understand the argument of a future band width glut but I would estimate we are still several years away.

Yes several years a way, but an abundance of bandwidth in the future is not necessarily a negative. Hopefully I'll have time to expand on that issue this Sunday if things go smoothly. My time is at a premium as buying a house, packing and work at the Cape has me rationing every minute. Punching Holes in Space is not a 9 to 5 job, and the changing of working hours accommodating Launch Windows and gearing up and scrubbing a day or two in a row, takes it toll, and tends to play havoc on ones personal time.

In Jan. 1996 I began Investing in and posting on another Bandwidth Technology (ADSL/VDSL) on the SI: Amati Thread. Of course at that time only a handful knew what ADSL was. Emerging Technologies has been my passion since the 1976, and for 2 decades I watched Wall Street over look what it all met, until it finally walked up and slapped them in the face.

We are at a point now where Old Economy is on it's death bed, and so are those who still live and invest by it's theory.
