Sorry, those are the stats. Even a .200 hitter gets a few base hits once in awhile. But he's still down near the bottom of the barrel compared with the other states. His excuse is "we're a big state, a fast-growing state that shares a border with Mexico". Fine, but so are three other states and just look at what he did with Texas's surpluses. An "emergency" tax break to oil companies.
