Gore championed internet economy, stream-lining government, foreign affairs, welfare reduction, environment, arms control, saving social security (cast the tie-breaking vote thank God), morality in pop culture, etc. He's been a busy man. We have had 8 years of prosperity and peace with him in the saddle. Or behind Clinton in the saddle anyway. Plus he has none of Clinton's personal morality issues. Straight family man, etc.
