You are beginning to get irrational Greg, but I'll answer you anyway.:

"How do you know, you know an Atheist? He says he is an atheist- just as YOU say you are a Christian- I cannot know this for certain because I cannot look into his heart or yours. Are you able to know things like that about people with certainty? Are you saying that you are relatively sure
he is an Atheist? I am as sure as I can be- he has said it many times- see preceding discussion about not being able to look inside people. Your book of reason, is that relative reason or absolute? Since it's MY book, it's my reason, and it is subjectively mine. I don't know everything- so some things are missing in my book. I know no one who has a complete book- but I know that the people who CLAIM to have complete books are usually the most unpleasant to deal with. If absolute
then kiss relativism goodbye.not absolute If relative then what is reasonable to you, cannot be
imposed on anybody else can it?Not so. If what is reasonable to me is something many people would like to agree on we can get together and form a contract to implement it- happens all the time. You know there are many words for it...one of them is...get ready now...DEMOCRACY. How did you reach your conclusion about this? After much education and experience I became aware of how many differences there are. I have seen good people of almost every philosophy, and I never saw any evidence for any faith not based on experience. So, able to find no absolutes, I decided to do what was in my best interest, to work for the things that promote my life and my husband's life and my children's lives. I have empirical proof every day that this is good for me. I need nothing more. It is manifest to me. Does that mean it is true? Who knows? I find truth and absolutes interesting but irrelevant to my life.
you use reason to prove reason? Is this just taken on faith? It is a place to start- but it is taken as a place to start with the full knowledge that is is NOT the only place to start How could you?
Round and round the philosophy bush
the relativist chased her reason. I do not think you can understand this, Greg. I begin to think it is not possible for you at this time. And that's ok.
