I'm sure you are familiar with the truism (in my mind anyway) that 1/3 of a stock's performance is due to specifics about the company itself, 1/3 due to its sector's performance, and 1/3 due to the overall market.

That said, great companies in great sectors like arba or jnpr, that are highly valued, are vulnerable if the overall market chooses to discount such valuations.

Glenn - I don't think just holding is a bad idea. I trade way too much, and hope to sit still some, now. Early this morning, the values were too compelling. I have a knee jerk reaction to markets dropping 100s of points on the open, to buy, a tick I acquired in October '87.
