Well this is option week, and there are a lot of PUTS in the money..Max pain says we either rally before or right after EX date when we have that many in the money. --------- In as much as many broker/dealers short & sell puts , then let the put close the short, if the market goes up above MAX pain they will close the shorts and keep the put money. This looks more like a short covering type rally..more than real buyers and the wipe saw could run right into Next week. Jim
