Sam,

I won't even try to predict what the stock will do tomorrow in this market, but 25% over expectations ain't bad. Sooner or later, when the sentiment changes, SanDisk will be rewarded for this performance.

Well, that was a bad closing. Lost about $3 on less than 200,000 shares in the last 10 minutes, and lost close to another $2 on about 200,000 shares in the 10 minutes before that. Someone wanted to take Sandisk down before earnings.

Well Sam, believe it or not, that was an idiot shorting the stock. I know because it was using REDI smart sell, which is part of the GreatTrade software, used by my office, ProTrader. It puts out an order on REDI, hits the bid if it's an uptick, and automatically lowers the offer to a teenie above the bid if it's a downtick. In this case there was 20k shares that kept going down a teenie above the offer on REDI. When the 20k was up it refreshed.
