I'm not sure why this is the case but stocks that lose 10 cents per share when they where expected to lose 15, seem to be more cared about then stocks that make 50 cents a share when they were expected to make 52.

I am not sure what you mean by more cared about. Usually the stocks that are losing $$$ but are the up and comers are usually the stocks that get the most attention....is that what you mean?

BTW I think we will rally off the earnings reports tonite.
MSFT, AOL, BRCM EXTR and VTSS came thru tonite with their reports.

Actually, a rally looks very doable at least in the AM; just looked....currently, NASD futures are up by 60.
