..and you also have to respect "Sir" from SHARING his timely post about PSFT, CHKP and others today ...that, right there, illustrates how we can all profit by sharing our findings with one another. There's so much negativism about daytraders these days and all the losses they've suffered..no wonder, for the most part each was really on their own with only one pair of eyes!

I can't tell you enough how grateful I am to people like Kevin -- and countless others - who are choosing this path of sharing in a timely way. It is very easy to sit back and profit from someone else's efforts by just watching our trading thread, but I for one am thrilled at the number of quality posts and the fact that people realize that by working together - and contributing often - we can really do better than we did on our own.

Funny that folks pay more attention to the Sir part than the realist or surrealist <GG>. Actually, the name was inspired by a visit to the Dali museum in St. Pete (FL).

If you ever get there, his concept of bureaucrats, as he painted in an exceptional piece, is above any words I can muster.

As a moderator of a moderated thread, I really try to take a hands-off approach to spats, as most are settled quickly between adults.... and censorship pretty well sucks.

But the lines I draw occur when:

-- I start getting PMs about offensive language and overt personal attacks (and I PM the former before considering a ban; none have been banned for that yet)

-- If a known name-caller shows up and posts Yayhoo-like flame, I don't even bother with warnings; terminal teenagers never take suggestions... they get banned as fast as I can move.

In 4 months, I've banned only four folks. I don't advertise who's been banned (though if others start bad-mouthing the offender, I might PM them to notify them to stop wasting breath on someone who's gone).

Generally, though I gotta bite my tongue at times, I try to avoid dissecting personalities and speculating about their obviously deficient potty training. I simply remind myself that good trading is the major purpose most come for and deserve to get.... which helps maintain my objectivity.

In real life, though, I'm a pseuedo-intellectual sarcastic SOB alien life form with all the grace of this year's excuse-ridden US Olympic gymnastics team.

But you may call me 'Sir' if you wish. Just wipe your yap before you kiss my ring, y'hear?
