If P4 is as crappy as we assume, and the MustangDDR as improved as we expect, things will go well. But things never go perfectly. We will have those good old manufacture problems in the next Q. AMD definetly need to equip itself to do mobos... or at least contract someone to do them in volume. I would gladly but an AMD reference design board.

I'm f*ck*ng sicked of that continous infrastructure constraints. It's been more than a year that the problem slows k7 penetration. ASP drop are in direct relation with expensive motherboards. As for market share limitation (AMD could and would have produced more, had there been mobos to accompany it).
