Is ATHM seen as a telecom stock? ATHM is a multi-faceted beast, of course, but if I had to name a single purpose it would be "broadband access" ("fast, reliable, always on", as Grace coined it in #25917). Maybe so, but should it? There is also a high correlation with AKAM (see #25868). Is ATHM connected to the DSL massacre? Sure. Why? It's "broadband access", too - as much as the technologies differ. Stable growth, With a stretch goal of 3 million subs hardly reachable this year. boring predictable income, Predictable losses for the time being. I simply dont see why nobody gets that. Many of us here know but it can take years for this to take hold on Main Street. I don't know how much longer I can stand letting this stock mess up my life. It's only money. Other things hurt more if you lose them.
