true..but many stocks/sectors have seen breathtaking wash-outs by now. some are beginning to bounce back, e.g. the paper stocks had an impressive day today. i'm almost tempted to go bottom fishing there...

of course bottom fishing in less mundane stuff may be more rewarding...

people seem to be in disbelief....the ponzi sceem is over.....and unless oil dives or inflation disappears we will see more earnings disappointments next qtr.......only it will be worse because all the analysts and mutual funds will be getting the same info as you and i.....if a company can forstall guiding profits lower they will...believe me.....but the same fear and disappointments will reappear next qtr
