Good for you. I did a similar thing last July. I sold everything and took trip around Asia for a few months. When I came back I could not make sense out of the market and stayed out of it. In late December my autoreminder told me to buy semicaps and short AMZN and a bunch of other internuts. I did the first but sadly not the latter. Bad feelings about the market kept me away until finally in mid March I even sold all my semicaps.

Then I stopped listening to myself and instead of shorting the Internuts as my autoreminder told me too, I bought a bunch of semicaps in August. If only I learn to listen to myself!
