<KRO, Baird, Jefferies, Comm. Tech., Frost, etc will have to go back to their old projections>

Downgrades a coming!...WSTL will be lucky to get a price target of $5.5 much less $55

And as Auric has been saying NO CASH will most likely lead to secondary...Can you say Reverse Split to keep us above $1?

Hate to belabor the point, but WSTL has shown a track record of poorly calculating future sales/earnings etc... AG has pointed out on numerous occasions, that the low margins kill this company and it is so. Everyone will have to downgrade this stock, trading range at this point, hmmm 3.5 to 6.5??? My 24 month price target if we are lucky would be $17-30 (assuming they fire on all cylinders). Their is no doubt that management has misled everybody, at the very least a warning of earnings shortfall, acquisition penalty which will adversely affect the quarter etc. were well known/should have been announced in stark contrast to guidance which they must legally be accountable to. At least they consistantly misinformed everybody except the contrarians who know that based on previous behaviors of WSTL 'misinformation' - this kid won't change - keep crying wolf. I would punish this bad boy and ground them for several months, which I think the Mom's and Dad's are going to do. Too bad for a kid which seemed to have so much potential. I don't think I can fully articulate how much I want to take this kid out back for a well deserved shellacking. When you read these reports and see price targets of $50-80, who wouldn't buy, the picture portrayed by mgmt was so rosy, they must be held accountable and I'm sure someone will do so. Too bad, eh...

Bill C., hate to see ya back at this time.

Nightmare I shall sleep on for 1998. Oh but this is worse than that era. WSTL is severely mismanaged. Fraudulently so, I am afraid.

SBC/VZN install rates work on inventory. they have plenty. WSTL produces enough for 2 more qtrs without order. Check the inventories. EFNT remains the "internal" modem choice and continues to ship. Good thing I don't own VRTA also. This qtr saw the appropriate inventory build for 500K modems with 700K next qtr.

Only the buffoons leading the wagon train ran into Chippewa territory on the shortcut. So next 2 qtrs it gets worked down and consider that the inventory is "stale" for sale, you get shit margins for the build of this qtr plus last and maybe next. Consider the fact , you build 500Kmodems outside at 11 bucks a pop and decide to sell only 300K. You owe immediate to COGS a 2.2m hit to the GPM.

Get it !?

apparently the buffoons didn't. Where's a good Dennis Miller joke when you need it!
