There's one little oversight on your part, your on the wrong subject ! On your subject, I don't care one wit if intel and the whole industry hate, hate, hate rambus. Rambus is the 800 lbs gorrilla and will make the rules, other have no say in the matter and will simply pay the fees that rambus assigns to them. Including AMD of course.

Steve, RE:"I think Mr. Barrett has a little more pull than your Mr Tate does at Intel." These Ramboids have gotten rather cocky haven't they? They think they OWN Intel. They simply think "threaten and sue" has no repercusions. I'd say, based on Mr Barretts comments, that he has realized he has to ditch Rambus just as an apology to the tech industry...and hope Intel can get some semblance of integrity back for helping bring the plague upon the land of Silicon and plenty.
