Here's one for all you clown lurkers who think that it would be impossible for the S&P to correct to, say, 600:

There are three charts shown here:

1. SPX yearly from 1870
2. SPX monthly from 1982 blastoff
3. SPX daily for October, 2000

One thing I forgot to note on this was that the cyan line shown on the little daily chart is the same cyan line on the monthly chart -- the TL from 1994 that has been much discussed of late here and on other threads.

All charts are log and the image was captured at 1600x1200.
