Tom D,
The Bill Parish piece has come up in the past. My question to you is, did you take it at face value? Bambs has sent a request to Cisco IR, concerning the Parish piece, and is waiting for a reply. In the meanwhile, you may want to ask some questions about the the thoroughness of Parish's analysis.

Here are some issues that I brought up earlier:

Bambs and Monty, I am not trying to start this up again other than to encourage critical analysis of both bullish and bearish opinions regardless of the company.

Hold on, Tom. Say Cisco's stock is a good stock, not a great stock. But don't say Cisco is a good company, not a great company. Cisco is one of the two best managed companies of all time, the other being GE. They just don't get better than Cisco. For people to bitch that Cisco doesn't pay taxes, well, I'd say they've got damn smart people that use the law to their advantage. People bitch that Cisco fudges the numbers by using pooling, well, I'd say they use existing GAAP rules to their advantage. These are the signs of a company playing the cards they are dealt to their greatest advantage. This is a GREAT company. As to whether the stock is overvalued or not and whether we can expect a decent return in the future, there's justifiable debate on that. But there should be no debate on whether or not Cisco is a great company. That is plain as day.
