Frank,

Where do you see a fit for McCain?

Sorry, but only recently have I started following this election, and I apologize if this was addressed before.

I am curious what the payoff is for the kind of support they are getting from McCain. It is support worth whatever they are paying. The madman can swing a lot more votes than Nader, and maybe as many as the real madman could in his day, Perot.

I have also notice McCain doing some nice counterpunching for Bush. Kill with anothers hand.

Thanks.

You have a weird idea of "good leadership", Fact is, those leaders you mention with Gore have kep this ccountry on top for 8 years. Your "leaders" are either tired, old, inexperienced or just military and oil types. If you want the oil business and the military to run this country then go ahead and vote for them. Condaleeza Rice by the way has been paid off big-time by the oil industry for her "help".
Some would say there's one in every crowd. And that even oil company's need their token black. Colin Powell has agreed to go with the Boss and though he can hardly fit his thikning into theirs, he doesn't yet see the advantage of switching parties. He did say however that he would probabnly serve in a Gore adminstration "if called".

Everyone on the silicon investor site should read Red Herring's interview this month with Gore. Gore is amazingly bright and aware of how the new economy works. Bush is an old oil man who is a representative of the old economy. This is an old economy vs new economy battle.

Bush is a hollow caricature of a real leader. I am not sure what you (Griffen) means by "leader", anyway. In case you haven't noticed he spouts nice sounding epithets but really has no idea what he is doing. He is the one that lacks credibility, not Gore. Example, he never signed a patients bill of rights but touts Texas law as his own even though it became law without his signature. He actually vetoed an earlier version of the law.

Bush has neither the background nor the aptitude for the job of presidency and would be far too risky to put in there. It is amazing that he is doing so well!!

Finally, regarding being aggressive. Gore is assertive, I wouldn't call taking a stand and being a challenge to your opponent aggressive. Give me a break.
